Evans still in contention in Tour

French rider Cyril Dessel has won today's 16th stage of the Tour de France, with Franck Schleck retaining the yellow jersey and Australian Cadel Evans remaining in third.

Dessel won his first Tour stage victory by leading a breakaway group of four riders to a downhill finish in the 157km stage.
