Not shouldering on: Adelaide's Jason Porplyzia has been ruled out because of his shoulder problem.

Adelaide's Jason Porplyzia has been ruled out of Saturday's Elimination Final against Collingwood.

Porplyzia has been continually struggling with a shoulder that keeps dislocating and it was decided to by Adelaide doctors that he would not be available for selection.

Porplyzia was keen to keep playing with the shoulder injury, but the medical team overuled.

Porplyzia's position in the team was taken by Brad Moran in the only change at the selection table.
