After a rushed behind the player kicking in should not be allowed to play on

 

What about bouncing the ball 25 metres out if the ball is rushed behind uncontesed or if the player has prior opertunity. This would be easier on the umpires. If he did get it wrong at least it would go to a 50/50 contest. What do you think. Great show.

 

The ball should not be allowed to be rushed until another member of the team has touched the ball, this eliminates the interpretation of the umpire and the rule is clear. Free Kick to the opposition on the 50m line directly in front - Problem Solved

 

I'm not so sure that joel bowden's first thought was time wasting, but his second and third may have been after he realised he could. Stu

 

Adam Launceston. Just make any rushed behinds a goal. That way you wouldn't have to change the scoring and it would stop it in a flash.
